Our most distinguishing strength is the commitment we have to organizing and taking stands for our beliefs:
making a difference in our communities, states, nation, and world.

The creativity and collective energy of our activism is remarkable and may be
the greatest gift we have to give—to each other and the world.

Our challenge is to synergize our commitment to community and to each other, with our activist energy and commitment to causes.

We often use our greatest resource—our activist energy—against ourselves.  When opportunities arise and groups take initiative to realize them, we often get bogged down in contentiousness and divisiveness.

To transform our focus and seek our common ground means letting go of our attachments to our individual viewpoints that turn the conversation into a moral test: good vs. bad.

Our commitment to the flourishing of each and every one of us must be greater than our individual attachment to being right.
