Peace Begins... here now with us...

Conversing, taking on different points of view, standing for each other—we can create options for resolution. Together, we can transform our community issues monologues and conflicts into productive conversations and actions.

Participate in the free Conversation Cafe happening in Santa Cruz

at the

Quaker Meeting House

225 Rooney Street

on Monday, September 8, 7:15-9:00 pm as part of

The Center for World Networking  Monday night events.

We will consider the question: How do we shift from ‘me’ to ‘we’ on both the local and global levels?  (See all the questions considered during Global Conversation Week 2008.)

Conversation Cafes are free, hosted, drop-in conversations in public places among people with diverse views and a shared passion for engaging with others.  A minimal set of agreements and a simple process create the shift from “small talk” to BIG TALK.

Global Conversation Week 2009 is March 22-29, 2009.  Learn more about it and find one near you at www.conversationcafe.org.
